This original fabric was woven using a vintage loom at a historic mill in the Bishu region.
It is a twill weave fabric that uses raw silk for the warp and cotton for the weft. Both sides are brushed to create a warm flannel.
The natural slub neps of the raw silk create a three-dimensional texture, and with each wear, the brushed surface develops a rich character and becomes softer to the touch.
It will develop the atmosphere of an antique fabric that has been sleeping covered in dust for many years, gradually conforming to the wearer's body and aging beautifully.
