PLEATS JACKET

This is a naturally dyed version of our pleated jacket, inspired by simple, old-fashioned house brand items.

We designed all the pockets to be large, making it easy to store and carry various small items.

The tack buttons are unpainted iron, and the rivets are copper-plated iron. Both will gradually rust, developing a unique texture and appearance over time.

MATERIAL: 100% COTTON

Selvedge denim, characterized by its unique texture, is slowly and carefully woven on vintage power looms (shuttle looms) at a historic weaving mill in Okayama Prefecture.
This denim is made from raw fabric that has not undergone any finishing processes after weaving, including washing or shrink-proofing.
Because old-fashioned looms are used, production efficiency is very low, and only a few meters can be woven per hour.
However, this meticulous manufacturing process ensures that no undue tension is placed on the warp threads, resulting in a fabric with a crisp yet voluminous texture that is unlike any other.
Carefully selected cotton is used, with close attention paid to fiber quality and length. Furthermore, meticulous detail has been given to the number of twists and their shape to achieve a crisp texture.

* Precautions for Handling Denim Products

・ Due to the special used, dyeing, and washing processes, each item will have unique variations in its used appearance, color unevenness, wrinkles, and distressed areas. Additionally, there may be small damage holes in some areas due to the distressing process. Please be aware that there may be discrepancies from the sample due to these factors.
・ We maximize the individuality of used processing, such as natural color unevenness, stains, distressed areas, and damaged areas. Returns or exchanges based on the unique characteristics of used processing, such as "there was color unevenness," "there was a stain," "I'm not satisfied with the distressed areas," or "I'm not satisfied with the damaged areas," are not accepted. Please be aware of this before placing your order.
・ For products that have undergone product washing or product dyeing, although we take great care in their creation, size variations may occur depending on the circumstances. Please be aware of this in advance.
・ As iron tack buttons and rivets are used, there may be some rust even when new. Furthermore, they will rust and age over time with repeated wear. Please be careful of color transfer when washing and wearing.
