A pleated jacket inspired by simple, house-brand items from a much older era.

All pockets are designed to be large, making it easy to store and carry various small items.

MATERIAL: 100% bast fiber (HEMP)

This original material is woven on old-fashioned looms at a historic weaving mill in the Bishu region.
It is a plain weave fabric made from thick hemp yarn, woven with ultra-high density in both warp and weft to its absolute limit.
After weaving, the fabric undergoes a Nidom process, which intentionally shrinks it significantly and creates an uneven surface texture.
During this process, the fabric surface is rubbed, softening the surface nap and giving it a moist, almost brushed feel.
Although the fabric is as stiff as canvas when woven at high density, the Nidom process gives it the texture of an old cloth that has been cherished for many years.
