OPEN COLLAR SHIRT

A classic YS open collar shirt. It features an elegant pattern that is typical of a dress shirt, a moderately dropped shoulder line, a wide, relaxed width, and a relaxed fit. Starting this season, we have reviewed the silhouette in various places, and while maintaining the usual relaxed silhouette, we have focused on more elegant pattern making.

This special series is garment-dyed, hand-dyed one by one by skilled craftsmen at a historic dyeing factory in Kyoto. You can enjoy the unique changes that occur with each wear.

INDIGO: Indigo dyeing

Please note that the INDIGO image is a color sample and the shape may differ.

MATERIAL: 100% COTTON

This plain weave fabric is woven on an old shuttle loom at a historic weaving shop in the Enshu region, the world's largest weaver of plain cotton fabrics. It is woven at an ultra-high density, exceeding the limits of what other weaving shops can achieve.
When fine yarn is woven at an ultra-high density, it produces a high-pitched noise as the fabric slips. Every time you move, it makes a crackling sound, and you will feel as if you are wearing the fabric.
After sewing, the product is garment dyed to give it a more refined texture. You can enjoy the unique aging process with repeated wear.

Hand-dyed products, handling precautions

*Since each piece is dyed by hand, the color and unevenness will vary from piece to piece.
* Although we take great care in producing products that are washed or dyed, please be aware that color transfer may occur depending on the circumstances.
* We make the most of the natural unevenness of dyeing, stains, texture, and other unique characteristics of natural dyeing. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to the unique characteristics of natural dyeing, such as "There was uneven dyeing," "I'm not satisfied with the way it dyed," "I'm not satisfied with the texture," "There are stains," etc. Please be aware of this before placing your order.
*There is a possibility that the product may have a dye smell, but this is a smell unique to natural dyeing, so we do not accept returns or exchanges due to the characteristics of natural dyeing. Please be aware of this before placing your order.
