GIFT SHOP HAT

This bucket hat was inspired by a souvenir hat from overseas that I found by chance in a vintage shop. You can fold the brim and wear it in a variety of ways. It's a stress-free item that you'll want to wear all the time, making it perfect for daily use.

SILK × LINEN CANVAS
50% silk, 50% linen

This is an original material woven using old-fashioned looms at a historic weaving shop in the Oshu region.
The warp thread is 14-ply silk pongee thread, and the weft thread is 25-ply linen. A simple plain weave material with a good mix of the firmness of linen and the softness of silk.
After weaving, the silk is stone washed, which whitens it and gives it a deeper appearance. At the same time, the stiffness of the fabric is loosened, giving it the texture of an old cloth that has been around for many years.

Precautions for handling silk linen products

We use silk and linen yarns that retain the natural neps. After weaving, we stone wash the fabric to further accentuate the neps. The neps may fall out due to friction when worn. Please note that this is a unique phenomenon of the texture of the fabric.
