Original material woven using old-fashioned looms at a historic textile mill in Saitama Prefecture, specializing in coat fabrics.
This is a high-density water-repellent weather cloth woven with extra-fine count, extra-long staple cotton for both warp and weft.
By gas-singeing during spinning, excess fuzz is burned off, recreating a silk-like luster and surface feel.
Unlike down wear made from typical chemical fibers, this fabric allows you to enjoy the aging process with each wear.
