PLEATS JACKET

A pleated jacket inspired by rustic house brand items from quite a long time ago.

All pockets are designed to be large so that you can easily store and carry various small items.

The tuck button is made of unpainted iron. The rivets are copper plated iron. As both gradually rust, they develop a unique texture and look.

Selvedge denim is woven slowly and carefully on old-fashioned power looms (shuttle looms) at a historic weaving shop in Okayama Prefecture, giving it a unique texture.
After weaving, we use gray denim that has not been subjected to any finishing processes, including washing or preshrunking.
Because old-fashioned looms are used, production efficiency is extremely low, and only a few meters can be woven per hour.
However, due to this careful manufacturing method, we were able to create a fabric with a unique texture that combines crispness and fullness without putting excessive tension on the warp threads.
We use carefully selected cotton and carefully examine the texture and length of the fibers. Furthermore, in order to achieve a crisp texture, we pay particular attention to the number of twists and shape.

*Precautions when handling denim products
・As each item undergoes special distressed processing, dyeing, and washing, the feeling of distressed processing, color unevenness, wrinkles, and unevenness will vary from piece to piece. In addition, depending on the location, there may be small damage holes due to damage processing. Thank you for your understanding in advance, including any errors with the sample.
・We make the most of the natural dyeing unevenness, stains, texture, and damage that are unique to distressed processing. We do not accept returns or exchanges due to the characteristics of used processing, such as ``uneven dyeing'', ``stains'', ``unsatisfied with the feel of the item'', or ``unsatisfied with the appearance of damage''. Please be aware of this before placing your order.
- Although we take great care in creating products that have been washed or dyed, size errors may occur depending on the situation. Thank you for your understanding.
- Since we use iron tack buttons and rivets, there will be some rust even when new. Also, the more you wear it, the more it will rust and change over time. When washing and wearing, please be careful of color transfer.
